Mendocino County Barbera

Opened with restrained baked raspberry, spice, cherry and earthy aromas and flavors. On the palate, it's between light and medium-bodied with mouth watering acidity. It got better with some time in the glass. This is one my wife's faves, but I don't think it delivers on the value front. Very food friendly. It was a surprisingly good pairing with Beef Bulgogi.

Sampled at the winery and was surprised by the well rounded fruits and spice. It was delicious so I bought some to take home.

Real smooth, well-balanced wine great for standalone and food-pairings.

We've been drinking so much kind of mediocre wine lately that I forgot what good wine tastes like. This was really good.

Bought this wine in Napa 3 years ago. Sweet, crisp and refreshing - it has a black cherry and raspberry jam taste. Aromatic and not too mineral in the mouth
