Low tannins and low acidity. Notes of plums and black cherries. Not a harsh after taste. Hints of red licorice.

Dayum! Juicy, jammy, mildy sweet a bit of tart. Mild tannins. A bit of smokey, tobacco with a hint or spearmint. Just a smorgasbord of party on the palate.

As far as Merlot goes, it's taste is good. Low on tannins and body. I paired this with pork, which accentuated so much pepper to the pairing. Overall, for the price it's worth it. Very pleased.

A forgotten wine, purchased on our honeymoon almost 10 years ago. Oops! Far past its prime, but fun to taste 14 year old Merlot from Canada (the label says made with imported and domestic wine!)
The only fruit left is on the finish, otherwise savory licorice and earth.
