Dark ruby purple. Abundant nose and medium full palate of blackberry, black raspberry, and patent leather. Medium plus acidity. Medium tannins. A classic GSMC Rhône blend giving dark fruit and leather that’s as appropriate with medium to hard cheeses as it is with a robust autumnal meal. And with 2017 being an excellent vintage — it’s only flaw is that it had to follow the classic ’15 and ‘16 — you can let it lie for a bit. But you don’t need to do that. Drink now through 2025 while you wait for your CDP to hit its stride.

Dark, dry, good. Me sound like caveman.

Well... It's good. I mean really, it's $14 bucks. Just do it!

Deep color. Black pepper spice with flavors tending toward leather and tar. A little rough and chewy with moderate acid. Not great but not bad for the price.

A crowd-pleaser. A lot of ripe red and blue fruit on nose and palate. Quite flabby...monolithic. A CdR for an American palate...purchased in UK. Nice for a daily drinker at £6.
