J. Mourat
Collection Val de Loire Rosé Blend
Loire Valley, France
Nose has crushed cherries & raspberries, ripe summer watermelon, steely notes and faint moist chalk.
Palate has tart raspberry, watermelon rind and fresh cherries. Nice acidity.
A fun wine for an almost 80°F day in the Berkshires, atypical for early April. I believe this to be our first 2020 vintage wine.
A blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc & Négrette. $12!

Light peach color. Mild strawberry and peaches bouquet. Big and tart burst of lemons, citrus and a hint of peaches. Then fades to a quick dry finish.
