2016 vintage. Surprisingly good Riesling character. Lime flesh and peel, dried white flowers, green apple, pear skin, black rocks. Super hazy and indeed almost explosive upon opening, so have a bowl or ready glasses nearby. Palate is bright and refreshing. Not overly funky, which I personally appreciate. Enjoying while feeling nostalgic and saying farewell to an era. Goodbye, Farewell and Amen.
