I’m a total fanboy if this producer. They just make great expressions of California fruit. Tart black and red fruit, high acid, lower tannins. Food friendly and refreshing. This is a blend of Merlot, Zin, and Syrah, and like other J Brix wines, it is just so easy to enjoy.

Verrryyy smooth. Lots of ripe (almost jammy) black fruit. Not too much acidity, merlot comes through pretty strong. Almost no tannins.
Nice smooth wine to enjoy for a night in, however not really my style.
