Omg I hate Virginia wine, but someone insisted that I try this. Great dry red with some smoky and tobacco notes. Can’t wait to check out the vineyard!

No signs of age, very inky & opaque, some black fruit w/green edge to it, spices, peppery but not much complexity on nose. Very subdued favors on palate. Left this open for hours, tried the next day as well. Decent but expected more.

Bright fruit flavors and soft, plush tannins make this a drinkable crowd-pleaser.

Not very complex but light and crisp with red berry tastes hint of mint and a slight effervescence. Nice to sip on its own.

A young and fruity nose compliments a mostly opaque onyx appearance. A slightly earthy attack leads to a semi sweet midpalete and finishes very tart. A young wine that lacks the usual complexities of a Merlot but makes up for it with crispness. More cellering would probably lead to a note classic Merlot taste.
