Dense red, moderately high extraction. Plum, tobacco, pencil lead and barnyard notes in nose. Soft cherry, raspberry flavors; black currant and mild skin astringency in finish. Pleasant enough vin de table, mixed red varietals here

Deep inky purple in color. Butter, mint note and cherry-berry in nose. Black currant, blackberry and mid weight tannin astringency on front of tongue. Has softened somewhat since last tasting. Drinkable now, great value here

Deep purple in color. Fairly alcoholic nose. Cherry, berry, black currant with seed bitterness in finish. Press juice vin de table, but pretty good despite that. Only 32 cases made this vintage

2013 Red fruit in mouth, warm finish with slight astringency and bitterness. Great value for money from a fine NW wine producer

Nice blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Bought it at the Wine Experience.

Deep purple with a wide, violet rim. Interesting nose of Asian spice, cherries, chocolate mousse, and forest floor. A grab bag of a wine composed of six different varietals, predominantly Malbec. Medium body with smooth tannins and light acidity. For what’s basically a pretty standard table wine, the palate sure sings. Boysenberry, blackberry, roasted coffee, and plenty of oak to go around. For the price, this is a really really fun wine.
