Deep purple in color. Floral, spearmint, black currant, and cherry notes in nose. Spice, cherry, berry and cough syrup notes in mouth. Mild bitterness with mint, some alcoholic astringency on finish. Slight mint, black currant and milky flavors in aftertaste. Winery typically runs out of Mourvèdre, well made and popular. A nice example that shows well, with good complexity. Still ageworthy but drinking well now.
