Revisiting vintage. Tart cherry and plum with hints of herbs and spearmint. Slightly tart with plenty of tannins, skin mostly. Still age worthy but drinking well now

Revisiting this vintage, four months since the last tasting. Purple-red, dense, moderately extracted pigment. Black currant, leather, herbal and spearmint notes in nose. Tart cherry and spearmint in the mouth, white pepper, black pepper and fine grained tannins in finish. Lactic aftertaste. Needs time to open. Moderate skin astringency emerges after one hour, cherry-plum flavor with length after two.

Purple, medium extracted, very good clarity. Butter, cranberry, raspberry, leather and wood notes in nose. Berry, red Chile powder and spice flavors. Nice complexity. Light to moderate tannins in finish, well balanced. 290 cases produced

70/26/4 blend of Tempranillo, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Red in color, highly extracted and dense. White pepper, mint, cherry and cool berry notes in nose. Red fruit, leather and mint flavors. Mild seed tannin bitterness, mild skin astringency. Drinking well now but plenty of soft tannins there for further aging

Medium red in color. Red fruit, bay leaf and black pepper notes in nose. Briar, blackberry, cassis, (with time) sour cherry, mint and barrel smoke notes in mouth, seed tannin bitterness on finish, cherry berry aftertaste with mild skin astringency. Tart, but much improved, flavors well integrated versus original release of wine. Can still age this one, but drinkable now
