This is a bottle of honeyed golden raisins. If you like sweet dessert wine, I can recommend this bottle for is lightness in texture, sweet honey gardenia bouquet and pleasant sweetness in small doses. Nothing outstanding in complexity, but it is not cloyingly offensive either.

Apparently it's a UC Davis cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Grenache Gris, originally made in 1948. Is it delicious? You know what, it is. Unsophisticated but absolutely a pleasant little drink. A bit sweet for my taste, without the acid to keep it lively. But it's fun a. Interesting and worth picking up.

The 2016 Obsession Symphony has a pale green tint with a nose of white flowers, peaches and nectarines. The mouthfeel is medium, while the flavors are semi-sweet renditions of the same sort of fruit. A very light acidity makes for the spicy-food-friendliness, and the sweet finish is pleasant, but not long-lasting.

In a word, delicious. Lots of floral and fruit notes. A little sweet but also has a nice tartness that balances. A great white!
