Had 2001 vintage at Mario Batali's restaurant Otto in NYC - fabulous Calabrese red wine! Bold and flavorful. Tried to get again there, but they were all out.

Drier than usually like but really great. Quite balanced. Compared to the non-Riserva really taste the oxidation
