Fruit compote with plums, dark cherries, and a hint of white pepper on the finish. Wines from northern Italy can be so beguiling!

A lost Italian varietal, 6 cases came to America, absolutely stunning the finesse of a pinot with deep complexity, crunchy tannins, and structure

2017 Vuillermin is dense, with layers of cherry, red fruits, and a great backbone. This is crazy good, affordable, and 100% terroir specific. Outstanding, memorable, and iconic.

Gamey, dark berries, black pepper, tar. Long licorice sweet finish, though this recedes as it opens. Acidity and body medium, tannins soft. Needs some air to round out, then really pleasant. This is an indigenous grape related and similar to Fumin.

This beautifully transparent red wine is made from Cabernet Franc. , once believed to be extinct in the northern Italian Alpine region of Valle d'Aosta.
Nice ruby color, aromas compact and juicy red berries are complemented by flavors of green pepper and cloves.
