This is an absolutely beautiful, near-perfect Syrah, nicely balanced and smooth with no jamminess , and full of rich blueberry and cherry flavors. The oak is so restrained as to be subliminal. Wonderfully crafted with a tip of the cap towards Australia rather than France! 😸

Finished off our wine tasting trip with this Syrah, some baguette, salami, a horseradish spread, and grapes at the Inglenook Chateau Café. Wonderful! And it wasn't even my favorite Inglenook.
