This is an absolutely beautiful, near-perfect Syrah, nicely balanced and smooth with no jamminess , and full of rich blueberry and cherry flavors. The oak is so restrained as to be subliminal. Wonderfully crafted with a tip of the cap towards Australia rather than France! 😸

May 16th, 2015Oh my this wine was sooo balanced. I've had older RC's and this really has knocked it out of park. The nose was big, fruity nose with a hint of tobacco, fruity, perfume, and coco finishing with vanilla kick. Great Syrah!

This 2012 RC has Black cherry, blueberry, plum tobacco and leather. Flavors on the palette are similar. Still holding on to some tannins. Paired with a grilled bone in NY strip. 95% Syrah 5% Petite Syrah
