Merlot-heavy - 95% - with a smattering of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The wine is presented naturally - aged in steel, not oak. Showing a very deep purple color, this red wine's nose is loaded with blueberries and sage with a backbeat of black olives. Flavors of cassis and blackberry are powerful, but there is a savory slant that is quite striking. The tannins bite a bit, but things settle down after some time open. It's a pretty good wine, and the $10 sticker makes it look even better.

Very good. Smooth, no bitter aftertaste and not very oakey. Rated 9.3 by Robert Parker. Retails for $9.99. Found it at Grocery Outlet. their regular price is $3.99, 20% off wine sale was going on, so I only paid $3.19. Went back 3 days later and bought 5 more bottles.
