Lovely Grand Selezion from Panzano. Had this year ago and it wasn't ready back then. Sharp edge has rounded and now it's good to go. Some vanilla notes from barrique but well integrated.

Nose of plums and spice. Full-bodied and velvety soft tannins. On palate there was leather and ripe plums with long finish. However, lacked stamina as the fruit body dissipated in about 1.5 hours leaving behind an overly acidic wine.

Scent of barrel, strawberry, cherry.
Taste of dark berries and tobaco. A bit coarse, big tannins and wonderful aftertaste.
