2016: This is very good young Brunello that is starting to gain complexity. Well made, tart but starting to open up, good concentration. Think this is the low end offering of the label so clearly an excellent winery. Bought on sale, regularly $80?

Smelled of cherry cola and very ripe plums. Could smell the alcohol a bit also. Taste was of ripe cherries and plums. Was also quite Oakley but the oak mellowed with the meal. Also could feel the heat from the high alcohol. Will be interesting to see how this tastes in another 5 years.
