In a great spot. Rich, elegant, soulful. There’s some power underneath that silken mouthfeel. No rush on this one, tertiary tones moving forward. Nose is gorgeous, leathery, floral, foresty.

Sep 28th, 2022Earthy, old-school, and soulful Brunello. Showing well with room to grow. Edgy acid spice, and supple tannin on the palate. Showing black cherry/raspberry fruit. Underneath the wine is backed by sweet spices, violets, red apple skin, and an earthy core of forest floor, tar, sweet tobacco and leather. A little VA lift that I don't mind at all. Loving the herbal astringency on the finish, fennel, dried herbs, cinnamon, smoke.
