Oct 16th, 2021Soave often gets a bad reputation but this one is pretty good. The label says elderberry and hawthorn notes. I guess that is the slightly pungent, green nose and taste. It does have some more peach like fruit notes but quite subtle. Dry but not bland or acidic, the texture is quite lush for a light wine. Certainly quite enjoyable and a welcome change of pace for the price range.
