Feb 23rd, 2022Totally unique and delicious. Nose of diesel, citrus, dried flowers, straw, caramel, bee pollen. Palate is oxidative with a long savory acid streak. A little reminiscent of aged chenin but leaner, saltier and higher acid.

Aug 9th, 2018Very good. Lots of skin contact. Somewhat nutty and like a caramel cinnamon apple on the nose, but then opens up with air. Not drinking this very cold. Some cream. Then lots of swimming pool, plastic with some ornamental lemons blooming on the edges. Preserved lemons. Light makrut lime. Some Parmesan rind leesiness. Baked apple on the palate that lightens with air. Lifts. Minerals and some tannins leaving spice mid mouth. Some lemon and orange juice with slight oxidation, like those cartons not from concentrate. Definitely gets younger with air. Impressed. Ate with my Brazilian Easter lunch: bacalhau com natas and green rice. I think this was like $28. Worth it for sure.

Apr 26th, 2019Deep amber from 36 hrs skin contact; complex leesy nose and taste from 6 mos on lees. Apple skin, some pear notes. Acid comes thru well; flavors verge on oxidation but very satisfying, would be great with food.
