Pistus Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese
Such a pretty wine for a pretty Sunday night crunchy red fruit & dry earth and enough structure to stand up to a bit more chilly weather! Well-balanced and delicious! 🙌

Oct 23rd, 2018Smoky, orange peel, stewed fruit. Slightly tannic. Pepper and spice, slightly oxidative, reductive fruit.

May 1st, 2018Black cherries, strawberries, and rustic volcanic funk. Redo off a corked effort, and was not let down a second time. Not my favorite Etna Rosso and it’s priced a little higher than others on the market, but that doesn’t take away from the juice which was as most Etna wines are - incredibly drinkable.
