Tonight I have opened the 2009 Huntington Cellars Petite Sirah.
On the nose alcohol is very prevalent even with being open for 30 minutes, notes of blueberry, plum, dark chocolate, charcoal, licorice, and earthy minerality.
On first sip the alcohol is still there with blueberry, dark chocolate, licorice and not much more.
This wine has medium + acidity, medium tannins with a long finish. 🍷🍷🍷
