£6.95 from TWS. Very nice - and even better on second tasting - but much drier than previous Pinot Gris. Good depth of flavour and complexity. 2011 vintage.

Jul 29th, 2014Diam cork. The wine offered lemon, apple, pear, peach, pineapple, almond and salty/mineral notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed citrus, lemon, grapefruit, apple, pear, peach, pineapple as well as mineral and salty notes, joined by bitter almond on the pleasantly bitter finish, paired with a mild spiciness, medium-plus acidity, a medium-rich mouthfeel and very good length. The dry, medium- to full-bodied wine tasted fresh and was well-balanced. A very good Pinot Gris; would buy again.
