Was a hand-me-down so no expectations. Pleasantly surprised. Very good everyday wine that was approachable on opening. Pleasant aroma. Light bodied slightly sweet but with multiple layers of fruit complexity and winter spices. Mild but lingering finish. Checked that the price was reasonable - so good value for quality.

Young, sour cherry, light bodied, not enough to cut through my steak frites.
