Catchy label the Honoro Vera wines are know to have. Faces and pretty arty stuff. Color is red to purple urple. Smells like wood and rain on the vineyards. Hint of chalkboard. Flavors are rich and dry, but fruit forward. Cherries of the preserved type. Plenty of sweeter olives & cedar shavings in the mouth too. This is drying on the tough. Pretty in line with a Rioja expectation. Saunas, bitter herbs, river rocks and biting tannins. It’s a great deal at around $10.
