Spotted in the Danish wild! Geranium's cellar, to be exact. @jasminehirsch - almost as if you were with me!

Upon opening, this wine was very tight - to the point of being stingy. I almost thought I had opened a bad bottle, but then after about and hour and a half, the magic happened, and the wine developed a depth and richness that totally surprised me. It wasn't rich like a Russian River wine. Somehow it combined lightness and acidity with beautifully deep strawberries and blueberries, plus there was a pleasant note of earthiness and pine forest floor. This bottle is one reason I love West Ridge so much. Wow. PS - make sure you have this wine with food. It makes 2+2=5.
