For me, classic Hirsch vineyard Chard … clean, crisp, med-weight, touch of matchstruck reduction with a finish that scratches my itch and goes on forever. Ripe, juicy pear and lean crisp apple. I buy my allocation every year and go light on the pinots. For my money, this is year to year a star on the Sonoma Coast…kudos to David and the entire Hirsch family.

Hirsch Vineyards Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2019: Medium-body. Great balance. Great acidity. Citrus on the nose and orange, stone fruit, & minerals on the palate. Let’s not forget the elegant touch of oak & creaminess making this wine oh so heavenly! For me, this is an absolutely “spot on” Chardonnay; simply rich & flavorful - one of the best made domestically. Have a great week! Cheers🍷

Think of Hirsch as a pinot producer, but they make a damn good and complex chard as well!

Very well executed. 12.8%. Agree with all the notes so far. Mid weight, juicy pears, apples, creamy (not my favorite description). The wine has no edges and is super easy and pleasant. And that is also my problem it is just too nice…

Really great, people noticed, stone water with a fruit finish. Great apricot chard nose.
