Very interesting to drink the ‘11 and ‘15 block 8 side by side. The ’11 being a bit more lifted, angular, and herbal. Served from mag.

Absolutely fantastic, luscious nose of deep but fresh red fruit with a few floral notes. Deep, layered, and complex palate. Amazingly youthful for a 10 year old wine. While it was definitely ready to drink, it had surprisingly few of the tertiary/earthy notes you’d anticipate from an California Pinot of this age. I’m guessing this could easily go another 5-7 years.
