I’ve had two cases of this in the past year - seem to grab a bottle every other trip to the cellar. It never fails to please.

Gift from a coworker (Vivian) for my new job. Filled with pepper flavor and tannins but not overpowering the fruit. Full body with a layered finish.

Oct 17th, 2018Blackberry jam, one-dimensional. Knowledgeable wine drinkers are not going to get excited about this wine. Good entry-level wine for those that desire a low acid wine cocktail with little backbone. Honestly, anyone that would assign this wine a score similar to a first-growth Bordeaux, California, Oregon or Washington wine is following the herd on this app. Waaay too many high ratings for average wines that don't hold a candle to a good wine from a great winemaker. I've never taken notes on a great wine: it's not necessary. You can purchase ten bottles of this, and easily forget any qualities it has. Or buy one bottle of a superior wine and remember it for the rest of your life.
