Vineyard 8 Block N. Old Vine Lodi Zinfandel

Classy critter label. Hierogram: a sacred symbol, as an emblem, pictograph, or the like. Smells like a jam-tastic good time. Classic Lodi Zin nose. Berries, smoke, cooked super ripe fruits. Flavor is also in line with Lodi Zin. Fruit forward, with a bit of pepper and some bar-b-qued meat char. 15% ABV. Hot! It’s got some depth and tannin to hold things together, but it’s kinda a one note symphony. It’d probably be awesome with ribs smothered in bar-b-q sauce.

Really good; went and bought 2 1/2 cases after having one bottle.

A wonderful zin, taste of juicy fruit, red raspberry. Dark red color, light on the tannins.
