Pleasant nose of currant and mint. Can pick up the Merlot in it on the palate. A bit of spice on the finish. Not one of your overwhelming Napa Cabs but a very nice, balanced, complex wine from Bernard Portet of Clos Du Val fame. Worth a try if you can find it no.

Blueberry taste. Some light raspberry. Light licorice at the end. Very smooth can. Not an ounce of dryness yet fruit is light styled fruits so not overpowering. Would buy again.
