I was not well aware about Eguren Ugarte... great wine maker of Rioja. We decide to bring some to the store since we did lost some of Spanish wine maker lately. We've being very surprise by this entry level Temprenillo. Ah... yes... you can find cheaper... I think it should not be the point here. 😄

Leather & blackberry. Medium pepper finish. Deep concentration, small rim color change. Paired nice with a chocolate brownie

Mar 10th, 2019Needs a day or very thorough decanting to show best. Sour cherry, berry stem and a touch of Indian spices on the nose. Sour, almost limoncello like initially on the tongue, followed by stone fruit and a touch of rosemary. The limoncello and rosemary give it a sense of heat, although it's only 13.5abv. This is chorizo and olives' natural tango partner.
