At the Henschke tasting last weekend. The winery makes many Cuvées and this was a new one for me. Brief notes. From the Henschke Eden Valley winery Savoury black cherry and black plum. A musk note. I love the stories and thought they put into each of the names of their Cuvées. Stephen’s grandfather Paul Alfred sold his wine to local customers in stone jars, which in the Barossa were known as ‘krugs’.
