1999 Vintage - my first Hill of Grace! All consuming nose of ripe plum with hints of lanolin. Incredible robust nose. Lingers in the mouth for minutes juicing all the while - still large well integrated acid and tannin - scoring 3/7/9.5 = 19.5 out of 100 = 98.5 really like this vintage

1999 Henschke Hill of Grace Syrah. Dinner at Ch Ven w J&L B and J&J D. Awesome. Tons of dark fruit, leather, pepper, pencil shavings. Super long finish.

After 5 hours of decanting the wine at last opens up and taste really beautiful . You can't hardly tell the difference then whether it's Australian or French wine , it's almost or if not taste similar like a Bordeaux ... Worth the money
