L' Ambroisie Alsace Gewürztraminer

Superb companion to a wonderful homemade foie gras mi-cuit. Spices, elderflower, honey a bit, white flowers. Wonderfully balanced palate with a strong acid backbone, a touch of SR conferring a slight roundness to it, spices, a good grip to compliment the fat from the foie gras, and a very long finish with elder flower. I’m done drinking sweet wines with foie gras. Dry Gewurtztraminer for the win! Merry Christmas !

Nose of petrol, honey, elderflower and other white flowers. Palate dry but ample and rich with a long acid backbone, spices, elderflower again, honey on the sides and in the end. Very long finish that lingers with honey and flowery touches for a long while. Very good
