Deep translucent red purple. Nose of blackberry and plum. Medium fruit forward palate echoes the nose. Fuzzy, medium plus tannins from entry to finish. Lengthy, dark fruited finish. Classic American style Merlot from the NW that’s made for comfort food. Meatloaf, burgers, and inexpensive beef cuts will particularly shine. Drink now.

French style label for a WA wine (tricky). Rose and maroon red. Smells like strawberry rhubarb jam and violet scented soap. Flavors are chewy and savory. Rocks meet wild berries. Cherry plums too. Inky as well. This is nice Old World style Merlot. Funky, fun and flavorful at a price that won’t break the bank.
