Beautiful brambly aromas, great concentration, a real feeling of place and time complimented by nice aged pinot mustiness after 4 years in bottle.. Would be happy with more acid and less RS- sensing a little sweetness which takes some of the magic away for me. The potential is there for New York wines.

Not only the best red I've had from the finger lakes, but a Pinot I would seek out. Great structure and depth/complexity. Balance of soft acidity, medium tannins, and ripe vibrant fruit, all with a light body without being flabby and gentle alcohol. I seriously love this and am so excited for the finger lakes.

I feel that this is probably the best Pinot Noir producer out of the finger lakes although the competition is finally a good one. The nose has a wonderful aroma of currant a plum with undertones of spice including nutmeg and mulling spices. The palate is gorgeously light and elegant but still somewhat juicy at the same time. Flavors of plum, sour cherry and baking spice along with wonderfully balance acidity. The finish is soft and elegant with juicy fruit notes of lingering acidity. Wow... a great pairing for roasted pork.
