Here is another nice party wine. Good right out of the bottle.
Ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity on the nose with light Barnyard, dust, blackberries, cherries, sweet plums, sweet strawberries, red currants, light vanilla, light oak and white pepper.
Medium to full bodied with high acidity and nice legs, but a little harsh.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, tart cherries, strawberries, raspberries, currants, oak, cloves, coffee, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium length on the finish with soft tannins and tart cherries.
A Drinkable, everyday red blend. Not complex and not very balanced. Simple but could be had by itself or with food. Very similar to many other red blends that are simple yet drinkable.
Paired it with a plate of hard cheeses and dried fruits.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Much better than I had imagined that it would be. Lighter than most blends I’ve had yet dynamic and deeply fruitful! Would buy again.

Enjoying a wonderful visit from our beautiful daughter Gina. Mary made meatballs and sauce. Family dinner...loving it. This wine is okay, but because we are so happy, I'm rating a bit higher than it deserves.
