Jan 1st, 2018Consumed 11/2017. I have rated this wine before, but the bottle had a different description so I am adding this one as well. When I try to look back at my previous ratings, I can’t figure out how to see what year the vintage was. That could be why the description on the bottle is different.
Robust flavors of ripe berry fruit meld harmoniously with smoky oak and subtle hints of eucalyptus and the earth. An elegant Cassis note complements the long, noble finish.

Consumed 10/2017. I don't think mine was limited reserve, but that is what the description in the app is showing. I had this with feta cheese in oil and spices with Kalamata olives and green olives and it went really well with this wine.

Oct 22nd, 2017Consumed 9/5/17. Generous aromas of ripe bountiful fruit Melds effortlessly with refined spices. Well balanced with tones of creamy chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak spice, this wine has a long smooth finish. Grown in the Napa Valley, long regarded as the epicenter of the new golden era California wine, These grapes benefit from the complexity of the soil types.

Sep 6th, 2017A decent Napa cab, good deal of spice from the oak, nice color and lots of dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, dominated by spice and oak but the finish has some fruit and tends to linger. $16 at Kroger isn't a bad price but I could not justify paying the retail price for it.

Apr 22nd, 2016This is a reasonably priced wine that doesn't need to be paired with anything but also goes with most dishes.
