This is a very tasty Petite Sirah from Lake County in California.

Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.

Medium plus in body with a nice, soft mouth feel.

Showing blueberries, black cherries, black currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates, light graphite and peppercorn.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 4 year old is already drinking very nicely with nice complexity.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.

Would be nice to revisit it again in 3 years, and see how it evolved.

Nicely balanced and fruit forward. Easy drinking and elegant.

A small production of only 150 cases.

14.1% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Nice nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, sweet cedar, light earth, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and herbs.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and smooth

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, wood, spices, vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, light earth and herbs.

Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a very tasty Petite Sirah from Lake County. A nice sipping wine that doesn't need food at all. Easy drinking with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. I gave it a couple of hours in a decanter.

This Single Vineyard is tasty, spicy and interesting. Really enjoyed the nose here.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

100% Petite Sirah grapes where grown at 2,200 feet of elevation. Aged in (40% new) French Oak barrels. A small production of only 150 cases.

Drinking the 2015. It is great. Smooth long lasting tannins. Write up says a mix of black and red berries…. But I swear I have a cherry tobacco taste, reminds me of the Capt. Black Cherry pipe tobacco.
