Earthy nose with grapey blackberry aroma, coffee grounds. Very nice acidity, tannins not overpowering, black tea notes on wild berry flavor.

Full of bright blackberry flavors, this's wine is a Chianti like food wine. Chambourcin is a mongrel grape, an accidental hybrid found in the forests of France created from grapes from differ enemy vineyards mixing in the wild. Perhaps due to its hybrid vigor, it grows well in the humid swampy Delaware terroir.
