Light and fun Zin. Baking spice on the nose and ch-ch-cherry on the mouth. Great for BBQ.

One of the cheaper bottles from my latest visit to Sonoma. The winery opened up early and did a very personalized tour. This Zin is 92% Zinfandel and 8% Sangiovese. 2011 is supposed to be a harder harvest year.

Translucent Ruby red color and medium bodied (very light body for a Zin!). Very fruit forward with lots of red cherry followed by notes of leather leading to a medium length lightly spiced finish. Delicious easy drinking Zin.

Ok I'll admit the high rating is just because of the name. I haven't tried it yet.

Three distinct stages of flavor make this a fun wine to drink. Strong fruity notes and some spice to this one.

Earthy black pepper and dusty red fruit starts this hay ride. More dried red fruit, worn leather and holiday spice closes. The wine finishes long and juicy. It's both silky yet gripping. A tasty 8 year old Zin.
