Iron & oak dominate the nose here but they are in tune with the incredibly rich black fruit. Bitter black fruit but with good richness, very giving, warm but not overly hot, a big fluffy cushion of a wine!

An amazing estate with rich diversity and a wide range of micro climates and terroirs. This allows them to make both a high end Syrah and a Shiraz style wine. On the same property!! Both ranked in the top 20 in this years Syrah du Monde competition. We had the Shiraz style tonight. Rich, opulent dark red fruit with layers of minerality and fully integrated fine polished tannins giving it complex structure. Tasting the best of South Africa!
