Not decanted but given 45 min. of air. Deep, dark reddish-purple in the glass. The nose is a little reticent but the palate is definitely open for business. Richly fruited without being overtly sweet, unlike many wines in this price range. The nose takes on a slightly medicinal quality with additional air, which I don't love, but the palate is surprisingly complex and really very nice. Actually tastes like Napa cab. This really delivers for $22 locally and is a definite repeat buy.

Fruit forward but not sweet. Cab/merlot blend mostly. Drinks like 50 but at more attractive price.

Mar 28th, 2016Waa highly recommended....for me, it's good but not over the top...have had better cabs in this price range such as Louis Martini, Sterling, and Ghost Pines...still decent...just expecting more..:

Dark burgundy. Friuty vanilla on the nose. High acidity. Fruity, peppery. Chocolate. Dry. Medium to full body. Good tannin. Nice lasting aftertaste. Good with heavy cheese. Mutton chop.
