Two hour decant. Deep maroon color with some purple. Serious nose of baking soda, blue fruit, strong pencil lead and blue fruit. Pencil lead very prominent on dry palate, which had good acidity. Medium long finish with minimal tannins that may have made this wine a touch out of balance, but still very nice.
