Big, bold red. Not really my thing, but pleasant. Smooth and full bodied. Herbal, dark fruit, licorice, spice, kind of smoky maybe?

Good, smooth, and full bodied. Very good wine to pair with dinner or just drink on its own.

Wow this is as good as I remember it and better. Notes of black currant, chocolate, and Asian spice. Framed by oak but not oaky. This is great

For under $30 drinks like a $50+ NAPA Cab - amazing consistency across vintages, the folks at Halter are only getting better and better.

Past vintages were just okay but the 2012 moves into the "I like it" category.
