Peaking nicely. 2nd last of my lot. Still has a slight tannic structure indicating a bit more life. VERY terroir driven. Lots of leather and game meat to it in the nose. Would have tripped me up in a double blind - reminiscent of a merlot. Cassis, eucalyptus, mint, blueberry on the palate. Fairly acidic. Great wine to enjoy before the clock ticks 12!

The big red from Hall's famous Sacrashe vineyard on the east side of Rutherford. Intense! A better word is probably voluptuous. The inky color is true to the ripe plum fruits and great balance. The finish has my favorite trait of the appellation...that Rutherford dust. Built to last for decades, I appreciate Bob at the Hall Rutherford location for popping this just released wine for us to enjoy.
