Medium golden yellow. Striking white floral tropical notes with hints of stones and acids that carry through palate to long finish. Firm and lively textures and full of energy. Another new find AA6 value! 50-50 Roussanne Marsanne 14ABV. Mendocino high vineyard.

Night #3 of no red wine. Going to be a long 2 weeks! The nose on this is not terribly appealing and there's probably a little too much oak. That said, while unusual, the flavors are pleasant and the finish quite long. How's that for a split personality?

I bottled this a few months ago. Still young but very drinkable. Just being cheated of some complexity. And a mildly "rough" edge to it. .....lots of gold fruit. 50/50 Mars/Rous.

Beautifully complex & layered full bodied mineral laden wine just as one would expect from a high altitude vineyard from Mendocino!

Tropical flavors leading to a caramel/butterscotch finish.

Sooo disappointed...this was my last of 3 btls I was given after bottling it in summer of 2014. The 1st 2 I felt were drank too soon. Tried to exercise patience here and this one was O2'd. =(
Brown baked pear and apple. Acidity here is brilliant and offers what would have been a stellar balance to the usual unctuous tone of a 50/50 Mars/Rous.
Would love to get my hands on recent vtgs if this wine!!

2nd of 3 of these. MUCH better than first run that was likely consumed shortly after being bottled due to poorly controlled excitement. Med+weight, great balance, hard to not open the the 3rd btl now. Bottled this during 14 Roar hrvst.
