Elegant side of shiraz, however much more preferable. Delicate blueberries, dried cranberries, goji, plum, cloves, anise, oak and vanilla fill the boquet. Plenty of great acid and some soft tannin showing itself late. Completely different to 'syrah' style reds coming from the hills but none the less very enjoyable. Does not require decanting, in fact the glass before decanting was notably more vibrant and expressive
